My personal view about the Chakras

| THE CHAKRAS
As part of my ‘How Does It Work’ section, here are my own personal observations about the Chakras. I will not go into too much detail of what they are, as there are plenty of good websites dedicated to this topic and I will add some links to them further down the page.
The seven main chakras are described as being aligned in a column from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Each chakra is associated with a certain color, multiple physical elements, an aspect of consciousness, an aspect of spiritual awareness and if brought together in alignment, activated and cleansed, then it is thought to bring harmony with the physical, mental and spiritual elements of ourselves.
There are a lot of different beliefs to be found about this system. In Hinduism within its spiritual systems of yoga, in some related eastern cultures, segments of the New Age movement, and traditional Chinese medicine also relies on a similar model as a human energy system. Basically a ‘chakra’ is thought to be an energy node within the human body.
For some they have only heard of the Chakra system as a way to reach enlightenment, a belief system from India. It is said the energy that was unleashed in creation, called the Kundalini, lies coiled and sleeping, and is often pictured or referred to as a sleeping serpent. It is the purpose of a tantric yogi to arouse this energy, and cause it to rise back up through the increasingly subtler chakras (kundalini rising), until union with god is achieved in the (Sahasrara) Crown chakra at the top of the head.
For many this is a system that cannot be proved, and is only a belief. Well, that may well be, but you do not have to see the wind to know it is there. (Unless you are a psychic like myself and see the wind quite often!) But the point is, like the wind you know it is there by the effects felt. I truly have come to the conclusion over the years that this system does exist, and have worked with the main 7 chakras to help give psychic healing and stimulate psychic development with amazing results.
I have also used crystals (semi-precious gems) during healing work and have found placement of certain crystals upon their relevant chakras has boosted this system immensely. Often my clients have told of feeling a real physical awareness when receiving crystal healing in this way.
As a way to develop psychic abilities I have often used meditation methods that encompass the visualization of opening and aligning the chakras. To ‘see’ or visualize them opening and spinning and with their related colours as well, is a very good way to help ‘activate’ the chakras and cleanse them. Clairvoyance is related to the Brow Chakra, so here too a way to activate the ‘third eye’ is to visualize this opening in the brow area and sometimes to work holding the related crystal in your hand at the same time, for an extra boost.
When I channel psychic energy into a person, I often will visualize this energy as a beautiful healing white light pouring down through each chakra at a time, and then back up again stimulating and opening each one in turn. Some have a set view to only work from the Base chakra up to the Crown chakra; others may use it the other way around, or both. When I channel energy I see it as a ‘pouring in’ so for me from my hands there is a ‘pouring down through’ at first, then you can work on stimulating the chakras one by one as you work it back up. Also when channeling energy to others, my hands can become very warm, sometimes almost hot, and so I am personally very aware of the chakras within my hands as well.
I have also met people with exceptional knowledge on this subject, and it is clear they have researched well and follow as set system of belief and ritual with their use of the chakras. For my part, those of you who know me well know that I am not one to get ‘hung up’ on set protocol and routine, and therefore alleviate myself from the worry of doing this or that right. Being a psychic I have learnt to rely on my intuition with most things, and therefore have come to believe that awareness and intent is just as powerful as learnt routine and behaviour.
I do advocate a healthy awareness of the chakra system, and would recommend you at least delve into the main 7 chakras. Look them up, work with them, and you may find this useful knowledge has some relevance within your own spiritual growth and development. Within your research you may stumble across the many uses for the associated crystals and be drawn to working as a healer within this field. I have found they emit a gentle energy for healing, and the stones can be very useful for psychic work as a magnifier. Sometimes for students I would often get them to hold amethyst for stimulating the ‘third eye’ Brow chakra to develop their intuition and psychic abilities, and clear quartz is always a good all rounder for all the chakras particularly the crown chakra. I will often too put a certain crystal in my pocket or wear on my person for any boost I may feel is needed in relation to its chakra properties. Also I always carry clear quartz in my bag as I never know when I’m out and about if I am going to be called upon for a reading or healing on spec. A crystal is a useful, and yet inexpensive tool to have as a back up for healing or psychic work. The chakras are energy wheels that I do believe exist and urge anyone to work with them at their own level and with whatever method they feel comfortable with. Seeking healing from an expert in this field will not leave you disappointed. Being aware of the chakras and all they pertain will add to your psychic wisdom.
